1. About XploreUK

XploreUK is an event discovery and information platform operated in the United Kingdom. We aggregate information about events, venues, jobs, and community discussions to help people explore what's happening across the UK. XploreUK is provided by Quatech Global.

Our service includes:

• A searchable database of events across 80+ UK cities and 21 categories
• Personalised email alerts based on your chosen cities and interests
• A job board powered by Adzuna's live UK job listings
• A community forum for students, residents, and visitors
• Venue and place information sourced from OpenStreetMap and other public sources

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using XploreUK (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using XploreUK, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, event organisers, and any others who access or use the Service.

3. Your Account

Creating an account is optional — you may browse all events and job listings without registering. An account is required to:

• Receive personalised event alert emails
• Post in the community forum
• Create and manage event listings (organiser accounts)
• Book places on organiser-created events

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use XploreUK only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the Service to distribute spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without prior written consent
• Use automated tools to create accounts or post content at scale
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory
• Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. Event Listings & Tickets

Events on XploreUK are sourced from third-party providers including Ticketmaster, PredictHQ, Skiddle, Eventbrite, football-data.org, and OpenStreetMap. XploreUK makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event information.

When an event links to an external ticketing platform (e.g. Ticketmaster), you will be directed to that platform to purchase tickets. Any transaction you make is solely between you and that third-party provider, governed by their own terms and conditions.

XploreUK is not liable for:

• Cancelled, rescheduled, or changed events
• Inaccurate event details (time, venue, price)
• Ticket purchase issues with third-party providers
• Failure to attend events due to reliance on information from this site

Always verify event details directly with the organiser or official ticketing platform before making plans or purchases.

6. Jobs

Job listings on XploreUK are provided by Adzuna, a third-party job search platform. XploreUK is not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer. We do not process job applications and have no involvement in any employment relationship.

When you click "Apply now" on a job listing, you will be redirected to Adzuna or the employer's own website. Any application you submit is governed by the terms of that platform and the employer's own policies.

XploreUK makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any job listing. We are not responsible for the conduct of any employer or recruiter featured through the job board.

7. Community & User Content

Registered users may post discussions, replies, and content in the XploreUK Community section. By posting content, you:

• Confirm that you have the right to share that content
• Grant XploreUK a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the Service
• Accept sole responsibility for the content you post

You must not post content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory
• Contains personal or private information about others without consent
• Constitutes spam, advertising, or solicitation
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of any person
• Is designed to mislead or deceive other users

We reserve the right to remove any community content that violates these rules without notice. Repeat violations may result in account suspension.

8. Organiser Accounts

Users may apply for an organiser account to create and publish events on XploreUK. Organiser accounts are subject to review before events are made publicly visible.

As an organiser, you agree to:

• Only create listings for events you have the authority to advertise
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete event information
• Update or remove listings if events are cancelled or materially changed
• Not charge for tickets through XploreUK's internal booking system unless expressly authorised
• Not use the platform to promote unlawful activities

XploreUK reserves the right to remove any event listing and suspend any organiser account at our discretion.

9. Intellectual Property

The XploreUK name, logo, design, software, and original written content are owned by Quatech Global and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Event data sourced from third parties remains the property of those respective providers. OpenStreetMap data is used under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). We credit Adzuna for job listings and acknowledge all other data providers.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

XploreUK is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quatech Global shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to reputation.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@xploreuk.com. On deletion, your account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service, without prior notice and without liability to you.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where appropriate, we may also notify registered users by email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
